    The Gemsstock ski area is very snow-sure due to its altitude and north-facing slopes. The slopes from Gemsstock to the Gurschen mid-station usually open as early as October. In spring, the ski area offers excellent conditions until mid-May. In addition, the snow conditions are secured with snow cannons. The valley run can usually be perfectly skied from December to April.
