Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Fjällby – Björkliden
The Björkliden ski resort offers the crisp and perfectly groomed Rallarsvängen slope from the summit almost down to the valley. At the Grytliften and Kitteldalsliften, you will find wonderful powder slopes. The off-piste areas Svarta Björn and Stora Drivan, featuring partly extreme terrain, are particularly interesting. A highlight is, of course, heliskiing in Björkliden. Here, you fly directly from the ski resort into the Abisko Alps and can enjoy untouched powder slopes.
- many freeride/deep snow areas
