Beginners Espace Diamant – Les Saisies/Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe/Praz sur Arly/Flumet/Crest-Voland
It’s hard to imagine a ski mountain better suited for beginners than Mont Bisanne: it has gentle slopes, open terrain, and wide runs that end in equally gentle inclines. There are no drop-offs, no rocks—nothing here that could be intimidating. The chalets of Les Saisies are clustered around the slopes, meaning short distances—another advantage on the way to becoming a ski pro. Of course, beginners would also be happy with a smaller ski area, but thanks to the points cards, you only pay for the lifts you actually use. Once you’ve mastered the basic turn, almost the entire Espace Diamant is open to you, since all villages—except for Hauteluce and Flumet Les Seigneurs—are accessible via easy runs.
