The slopes in Bormio are generally quite challenging and offer around 1,800 meters of vertical drop in one go. Several difficult slopes are available for advanced skiers. The famous World Cup and Olympic course Stelvio is particularly noteworthy. In the upper area, there are numerous unsecured freeride zones.
