Access, Parking Belvedere/Col Rodella/Ciampac/Buffaure – Canazei/Campitello/Alba/Pozza di Fassa

Val di Fassa (Fassatal) is nestled in the Dolomites. Arriving from the north is recommended via the Brenner motorway, exit Bolzano Nord. From the Bolzano Nord exit, you drive over the Passo Lavazé and reach Cavalese. From there, a well-developed road leads into Val di Fassa (Fassatal). In case of snowfall, you should take the Neumarkt-Auer-Tramin exit, as the Passo Lavazé can be difficult to pass. Arriving from the south is easy via the Brenner motorway, exit Neumarkt-Auer-Tramin, and then a well-developed road leads via Cavalese into Val di Fassa (Fassatal). Other options to reach the ski area are via the Brenner motorway, exit Klausen-Gröden. From here, you go through Grödnertal and Passo Stella (2244 m) into Val di Fassa (Fassatal) to the various valley stations of the ski area. If you are coming from Venice or Udine, take the A27 to Belluno and then drive over several passes. Unfortunately, parking fees are charged almost everywhere.
