With the construction of the public transport hub in Fiesch, a direct cable car connection to Bellwald is also planned. The goal is to provide more comfort and relieve the road connection. The cable car will have a mid-station. The mountain station is to be built near the valley station of the 6-seater chairlift Bellwald-Richinen. The 8-seater gondola lift Fürgangen-Bellwald will subsequently be dismantled.
