Environmental protection of the ski resort Arosa Lenzerheide

Highly efficient solar panels have been integrated into the facilities at various locations throughout the ski area. Wherever possible, electricity is sourced from renewable energy. GPS in the snow groomers provides precise data on snow depths. This helps to ensure efficient and resource-saving snowmaking and slope preparation. And even though plenty of space is dedicated to freeriding, the designated wildlife protection zones are extensive and clearly communicated. Great importance is also placed on public transportation. With every valid ski ticket, public transport is included free of charge for winter sports activities on the route Arosa - Chur - Lenzerheide - Tiefencastel.
