1/1 Alpe Express
The 10-seater gondola lift Alpe Express, together with the first section Huez Express, is part of the overall TCSP (Transport Collectif en Site Propre) project in Alpe d’Huez. The aim is to provide an optimized connection from Huez to the areas of Paganon, Eclose, and Bergers.
This lift replaces the two chairlifts Eclose and Bergers. The route is roughly the same as that of the two old lifts. This results in a route from Place Paganon via a mid-station with a curve called Eclose. At the Bergers top station, there are connections to the lifts Rif Nel Express, Marmottes 1, and Romains.
