Val di Fassa lies in the heart of the eastern Dolomites (Unesco World Natural Heritage), surrounded by Roda di Vael and the Catinaccio, the majestic peaks of Sassolungo and the massive bulk of Sella and the Marmolada. The crown is completed in the south by the Valacia subgroup with Cima Undici, Cima Dodici and the slopes of the Monzoni chain.
