Environmental protection and sustainability are a big priority in Meiringen-Hasliberg. There are large animal protection areas throughout the ski resort that are restricted for skiers. Since 2010, the Meiringen-Hasliberg lift company has been running its grooming machines with the Eco-Speed-Mountain environmentally friendly diesel fuel. The good accessibility of the lifts using public transportation is also beneficial. The gastronomy also helps to protect the environment by using local food products.

• Train connection
  The Meiringen train station is about 1 kilometer away from the base station. Trains run hourly from Luzern to Meiringen. The connection from Brienz/Interlaken is even better - the trains run every 30 minutes on this route. The entry points on the Hasliberg are best accessed from the Bruenig-Hasliberg train station. This trains coming from Luzern and from Interlaken stop at this station every hour. Buses transport guests, in accordance with the train schedule, to Hasliberg Reuti. The bus stops in other communities of Hasliberg on the way.

• Within Meiringen, free ski buses circulate daily in the morning and afternoon between Unterbach and the cable car lift in Meiringen. Scheduled buses circulate between the individual communities of Hasliberg and between the Reuti and Twing gondola stations. The Skihaesli Taxi, a small taxi bus that picks up guests in Hasliberg directly from their hotels, is a special service. However, this luxury service costs extra.
