For skiing and snowboarding, there are 55 km of slopes available. 15 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,000 and 1,900 m.

The Les Houches/Saint-Gervais ski area covers the slopes around the two peaks Bellevue (1,800 m) and Prarion (1,900 m). The spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding mountain ranges, including Mont-Blanc (4,810 m), attracts not only winter sports enthusiasts. Most of the ski and snowboard runs are located below the tree line. The difficulty level of the slopes is mostly easy to intermediate. For advanced skiers, the Kandahar, which regularly hosts Alpine World Cup downhill and Super-G races, offers a challenge. It runs from Prarion down to the edge of Les Houches.

The cog railway “Tramway du Mont-Blanc” connects from Saint-Gervais-les-Bains to the Col de Voza (1,650 m), providing access to the winter sports area. However, there is no valley run back to the village. From Les Houches in the Chamonix valley, two gondola lifts lead up into the ski area, and valley runs are available here.
