Grouse Mountain makes environmental protection a priority. Some of the energy used is regenerated with a windmill on the mountain. In the summer, the ski resort is a haven for bears, owls and wolves. The restaurants only serve regional products and place a high value on sustainable fishing. It is therefore not surprising that the resort is a member of "Ocean Wise" and "Green Table".
