Access, Parking Tignes/Val d'Isère
The Tignes/Val d'Isère ski area is located in the French Alps in the Vanoise National Park in Savoie. In winter, access is only possible via Albertville-Moûtiers-Bourg-Saint-Maurice. A mountain road leads from the town of Bourg Saint Maurice up to the ski area. Day visitors can already enter at 1,550 meters above sea level in Tignes Les Brévières. The road continues to the dam of the "Lac du Chevril" lake. At the dam, you turn left to Val d'Isère or cross the dam to the right to reach Tignes. In Tignes and Val d'Isère, parking is available in paid parking garages.

Access in winter is only possible from the north via Albertville Moûtiers-Bourg Saint Maurice. The following passes are closed in winter: Col de l’Iseran (end of the road in Val d´Isère Le Fornet), Kleiner Sankt Bernhard (frz. Col du Petit Saint-Bernard; ital. Colle del Piccolo San Bernardo), Cormet de Roselend.
