La Daille

The high-performance installation replaces the 4-seater gondola lift Daille from 1967. The new La Daille gondola lift features 10-seater cabins of the Premium Symphony model series with heated seats. The design for the 10-seater gondola lift comes from the renowned Italian design studio Pininfarina.

The 10-seater La Daille gondola lift represents a significant improvement for the Daille area in the Val d’Isère ski resort. The new lift triples the transport capacity and halves the travel time. The modern gondola lift is also less susceptible to wind. The lift route remains the same, but the new installation requires 25% fewer towers.

The new Symphony 10 model 10-seater cabins are being used in France for the first time here. They offer plenty of interior space and generous panoramic windows, heated seats, Wi-Fi, and comfortable sliding doors. The advanced cabin design was created by the Italian design studio Pininfarina.

The stations of the lift are being redesigned. In the new valley station, there will be a departure hall, a reception with ticket counters, and sanitary facilities. Unlike the previous lift, the drive system is now located in the new mountain station. This further reduces noise pollution for the surrounding area.
