The village of Stoos is car-free and can only be reached by train from Schwyz or Morschach. Sustainability is a top priority in the Stoos Muotatal region. Wildlife and forest conservation areas may not be entered and are clearly marked on the piste map. Traveling by public transport is encouraged, and there is an excellent bus connection from Schwyz to the valley station of the Stoosbahn. There are also charging stations for electric cars at the parking lots.
