The ski resort is located in one of the oldest national parks in the world. The Bogd chaan uul mountain range was placed under protection as early as 1178. Therefore, no trees were allowed to be felled for the construction of the Sky Resort. There is a free ski bus running regularly (also in the evenings) from the city center.
