Somewhere between a derby, a rally, an enduro, an orienteering race, and an obstacle course like 'mud-day'... the Grand Prix de Serre Chevalier is an explosive cocktail that makes it an extraordinary event.

Created in 1986 and relaunched in a revamped version in 2017, it has since become the most popular amateur skiing race in the world! Yes, you read that right, and the advantage is that you don’t need to be a great champion to participate! The magic of this event lies in its 'popular race' and 'good-natured spirit' where people of all ages and styles come together at the start line – seasoned skiers, Sunday skiers, not forgetting the Tuesday snowboarders, and, of course, a special mention to those who come dressed up! Some aim for victory, others for fun, but everyone crosses the finish line with a smile.
