The Schilthorn is the highest ski area in the Bernese Oberland. The highest point in the ski area is the eponymous Schilthorn (2,970 m) with the revolving restaurant Piz Gloria and the spectacular panorama of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau (UNESCO World Heritage). In the upper, high-alpine area, the slopes are located around Schilthorn (2,970 m), Birg (2,676 m), and Obere Hubel (2,439 m). In the lower area, the ski resort extends around Mürren (1,650 m) over Schiltgrad (2,145 m), Gimmeln (1,813 m), Allmendhubel (1,907 m), Maulerhubel (1,930 m), and Winteregg (1,578 m). A valley run leads down to Lauterbrunnen (796 m). There is no valley run to Stechelberg (867 m).
