Beginners Schilthorn – Mürren/Lauterbrunnen
In Mürren, next to the funicular, there is a beginner and ski school area with a rope tow and conveyor belt. At the mountain station of the funicular on the Allmendhubel, beginners will find a platter lift for practice. Beginners can ski on easy slopes around Mürren, shuttling between Schiltgrad and Allmendhubel. Additionally, beginners will find easy slopes in Birg (2676 m) at the Rigglibahn. However, the descent into the valley is difficult, so you have to take the cable car back down. Around the Maulerhubel, there are more easy slopes. The very steep descent from the summit of the Schilthorn is completely off-limits for beginners.
