Snow park/terrain park Ruka
The Ruka ski resort offers not only Finland's largest snow park, but also several smaller parks and a superpipe.
Snow park
Ruka Park
Ruka Park is the largest and most popular snowpark in Finland. It is located on slopes 14 and 15 of Saarua. The snowpark is perfectly accessible via the Saarua Express (H) 4-seater chairlift and the Saarua (I) drag lift. Every year in October, the snowpark is the first park in Finland to open for freestyle enthusiasts, offering at least 200 days of fun each season. Ruka Park features several jumping lines in various sizes, as well as plenty of rails, kickers, boxes, and other obstacles. The setup changes throughout the season, so there is always something new to enjoy.
Vuosseli Superpipe
In addition to the Ruka Park, freestylers are treated to a world-class SuperPipe. The impressive 130-meter-long SuperPipe with a 16.5-degree angle is the only SuperPipe in Finland. The FIS-qualified SuperPipe is located at the top section of the Vuosseli slope 25.
Rosa Park
Located at slope 21 is the easy Rosa Park with gentle obstacles for beginners. Here you can easily gain your first experiences in a snow park. The Bistro platter lift provides convenient access to the Rosa Park for more runs.
