Connection between Pal and Arinsal only by cable carDescription Pal/Arinsal – La Massana
The Pal-Arinsal ski area can be accessed from La Massana and Arinsal. Gondolas depart from both locations. Alternatively, you can drive via Pal up to 1,950 m (La Caubella), or up to 2,069 m at Coll de la Botella. From the parking lots, the lifts take you directly into the ski area.
In the Pal sector, the runs mostly wind through forest clearings and are served by detachable and fixed-grip chairlifts as well as some drag lifts. Advanced skiers can challenge themselves on the difficult La Comellada run. To get to Arinsal, you need to take the cable car from Coll de la Botella towards Pic Negre, soaring up to 2,560 m.
The runs in Arinsal are mostly easy and very well suited for beginners. Two long chairlifts take you up to Pic Negre and to the cable car back to Pal. The slopes in Arinsal are mostly on treeless hillsides, and there is also a well-maintained snowpark with its own lift near the top station of the Les Fonts four-seater chairlift.
Beginners in Arinsal have access to magic carpets and chairlifts on gentle slopes. Advanced skiers will also find some challenging runs from the top station of the cable car, which are served by a platter lift.
To return to Pal, you need to take the cable car again and then the La Botella four-seater chairlift back towards La Caubella. Beginners will find an easy double chairlift, magic carpets, and great entertainment in La Caubella, making winter sports truly enjoyable. There are many charming restaurants and mountain huts scattered throughout the ski area, offering dishes from various countries.
