The valley station of the "Arc en Ciel" funicular in Bourg-Saint-Maurice is particularly suitable as a starting point for day visitors. There is no need to navigate a steep, winding mountain road. The town is well connected to the road network with well-developed roads. Paved parking spaces are available directly at the valley station. The funicular takes you directly to Arc 1600 in the ski area within 10 minutes.
