Access, Parking Les 3 Vallées – Val Thorens/Les Menuires/Méribel/Courchevel
The Les 3 Vallées ski area is located in the French region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, south of Albertville. The resorts within Les 3 Vallées vary in terms of accessibility. Orelle is just a few minutes’ drive from the A43 motorway (L'Autoroute de la Maurienne) and is very easy to reach. To access the valleys (Courchevel, Méribel, and Les Menuires/Val Thorens), you take the expressway from the end of the motorway at Albertville towards Tarentaise and Moûtiers—after that, you’ll need to navigate winding mountain roads and, depending on your destination, ascend up to 1,800 meters in elevation. Parking options are available in the resorts and by the slopes, ranging from underground garages and well-developed roadside lots to simple gravel areas—some are free, while others require payment. There are also airports for private planes in Courchevel and Méribel, as well as helicopter shuttles for arrivals.
