1/16 Eiger Express
The 3-cable circulating Eiger Express, together with the 10-seater gondola lift Grindelwald-Männlichen (GGM) to Männlichen, is part of the V-Bahn project. The valley stations of both lift systems are located in the ultra-modern, shared Grindelwald Terminal, which offers connections to the Bernese Oberland Railway and a parking garage. The state-of-the-art lift connects Grindelwald with the Eigergletscher station. After a spectacular ride with impressive views of the famous Eiger North Face, there is a direct connection to the Jungfraubahn.
The new Eiger Express is one of the first lifts to be equipped with the newly developed ATRIA cabins from CWA. These harmoniously designed cabins offer plenty of transparency and a pleasant sense of space. They feature a consistent design language with rounded shapes, clear lines, and a coherent overall concept. In addition, the modern electromechanical door drive system provides audiovisual signals when opening and closing for greater comfort and safety.
The Eiger Express is the most modern 3S cableway in the Alps and takes guests from the valley up to the ski area and the slopes in just 15 minutes.
