The Jungfrau Railway (JB) is also suitable for winter sports enthusiasts on the section from Kleine Scheidegg to Eigergletscher. The cog railway then continues through more than 7 km of tunnel to the highest railway station in Europe at Jungfraujoch at 3,454 m. From Eigergletscher station onwards, winter sports enthusiasts are not permitted and an additional ticket (ski pass not valid) must be purchased.
