With the 1 FÜR 1 promotion, the winter sports areas in the Diemtigtal are once again setting new standards in family friendliness this year. When purchasing a season pass for Diemtigtal, Wiriehorn, Grimmialp, or Springenboden at the regular price for an adult, a child born in 2001 or later receives a free season pass for the same area. The Grimmialpbergbahnen now offer a year-round pass. This allows you to benefit from discounted summer rates for the chairlift as well.The pass can be purchased in advance starting October 15.

50th anniversary
On December 31st, 50 years ago, the first person rode the Grimmialp ski lift up to Stierenberg.This historic day will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 31, 2014.
Everyone is warmly invited to the festivities for the 50th anniversary.
Additionally, during the 14/15 season, every 50th day pass will be available at a 50% discount!

Snowshoe trail marked, Grimmialp
Starting this season, you can also enjoy a snowshoe tour on a marked trail in the Grimmialp winter sports area. The moderately difficult snowshoe tour offers you magnificent views of the striking mountain peaks at the back of the Diemtigtal valley. The tour starts at the Senggiweid parking lot and leads steadily uphill across snow-covered alpine meadows. The mountain restaurants Nydeggstübli and Stierenberg invite you to take a relaxing break. At the wildlife observation station, a modern telescope is available for wildlife watching.
