Access & on-site parking

The Gemsstock ski area is located in the canton of Uri in Andermatt. In winter, the ski area can only be reached via Göschenen. All other passes are closed for the winter. Andermatt is located almost directly at the Göschenen exit of the A2 motorway. In just a few minutes, you can reach the paid parking lots in Andermatt at the Gemsstock cable car.

Winter Closure

The Oberalp Pass, the Furka Pass, and the Gotthard Pass are closed for winter. The road to Andermatt is closed if you are coming from Sedrun/Disentis/Mustér/Flims. The road is also closed if you are coming from Valais. There is a regular car shuttle service through the Furka Tunnel. If you are coming from Italy, you travel through the Gotthard Tunnel.
