Description Flumserberg

There are several ways to access the Flumserberg ski area. You can either take the eight-person gondola from Unterterzen via Oberterzen to Tannenboden, or drive up nearly 1,000 meters in elevation to Tannenboden by car. At Tannenheim, located at 1,220 m, you can also park your car and then float up to the slopes at Prodkamm with the Prodalp-Express, a twelve-person gondola lift.

Following the twelve-person gondola, the detachable eight-seater chairlift Prodkamm starts and opens up the wide runs below the 1,939 m high Prodkamm. The eight-seater chairlift is the first of its kind in Switzerland and offers a weather protection hood on every second chair. Below the lift, there are snow parks for snowboarders and skiers.

You can reach the slopes below the Maschgenkamm either via the difficult Chueweg run or the intermediate Twärchamm run. From Tannenboden, the eight-person gondola BergJet takes you directly up to the mountain station at Maschgenkamm at 2,020 m. Alternatively, you can reach the Maschgenkamm with the three detachable four-seater chairlifts Chrüz, Stelli, and Arve.

You reach the highest point in the ski area after a short descent from Maschgenkamm towards Seebenalp with the six-seater chairlift Leist. The mountain station here is at 2,222 m, and only difficult runs start from up here. The descent leads down tree-free slopes and eventually takes you down to Seebenalp at 1,622 m.

Beautiful runs also lead down to the Plattis drag lift, which takes you to the six-seater chairlift Panüöl, allowing you to reach the Maschgenkamm again.

At the Seebenalp restaurant, you can enjoy excellent food and take a break, and with the in-house rope tow, you can easily get back to the lifts in the ski area. From Seebenalp, the six-seater chairlift Seeben takes you to the slopes down to Tannenboden. Slightly above Seebenalp, the Terza downhill route starts, leading down to Oberterzen—a very scenic and long descent, but since there is no artificial snowmaking here, the ungroomed run is rarely open.

Flumserberg is very well connected to the railway with the station in Unterterzen, making it easily accessible from Zurich. Therefore, the slopes can often be crowded on weekends. There are numerous huts and restaurants in the ski area offering typical Swiss specialties for a break.
