Beginners Flumserberg

For beginners, there are two free children's areas with magic carpets and rope lifts. One is located at Tannenboden, right next to the valley station and parking lot, and the other is on Prodalp, which can be reached with the Prodalp-Express gondola (ticket required). The Swiss Ski School Flumserberg also offers lessons in both children's areas. Close to the valley, there are easy slopes between Tannenboden and Mittenwald. These slopes, which are ideal for beginners, are served by drag lifts and a rope lift. The Chrüz chairlift, starting at Tannenboden, also provides access to an easy slope.

All other slopes are at least of intermediate difficulty. The higher up the mountain the slopes are, the more challenging they become. The slopes at Leist are off-limits for beginners.
