Cross-country skiers will find snow-sure, short high-altitude trails in Riederalp on the Riederalp golf course (at around 1,950 m altitude) and in Bettmeralp around Bettmersee (at around 2,050 m altitude). Additional trails are available in the valley in Fiesch. The trails of the cross-country skiing mecca Goms are about 5 km from Fiesch and offer a total of approximately 100 km of trails. The Goms trail connects a total of 12 picturesque villages from Oberwald to Niederwald.
