The resort, surrounded by 13 villages, is located right in the "Les Ecrins" National Park. The highest mountain peak is the "Dôme des Ecrins" with 4102 m altitude. The impressive nature with wonderful centuries old larch and pine trees complete the Serre Chevalier. Whether a great skiing experience in high alpine ambiance and a view of the glacier or cool cross-country skiing through the larch forests - both are on offer. Mogul slopes and wide runs offer great variety. The cordoned off area is perfectly suited for families. There is also an "Altitude" snowpark divided into 3 zones (beginner, intermediate, expert) that is spread over 3 hectares and a length of 700 m including 30 different variations. The boarder and ski cross obstacle course with 5 raised curves and a length of 80 - 100 m is the meeting point for a race with friends or against your own time.
