Slope offering, variety of runs
The Scuol ski resort offers a large variety of slopes. Everything is offered from easy to wide carving slopes to really difficult slopes at Mot da Ri. The majority of slopes are located on wide, tree-free mountainsides. The valley runs to Ftan and Scuol lead through a forested area. The 10 km long Traum slope to Sent is very interesting, but it does require a ride back to Scuol with the ski bus. The offering is complimented with a 3.5 km long airboard slope from Prui to Ftan.

Worth knowing
- Public race course with time measurement
After the construction of the 8 person gondola lift Scuol-Motta Naluns in the summer of 2009, the Motta Naluns Scuol-Ftan-Sent AG replaced the Ftan feeder lift in the summer of 2010. The 4 person chair lift with weather protectors replaces the old 2 person chair lift. Thanks to the new lift introduction, the mountain station is now located directly underneath the Prui mountain restaurants which enables a direct connection to the t-bars in Prui. There are other modern chair lifts as well as t-bars in the ski resort. In the children's/beginner's area Nalunsin, there is a covered people mover.

The slope preparation is excellent.
The ski resort has modern snow-making machines and even the world's largest slope groomer - the BEAST- in the fleet.
Tip: By new snow, an optimal slope prepartion is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.
From the Reschen expressway exit in Austria, the street twists about 60 km to Scuol. There is a charge for using the parking lots in Scuol and Ftan.

Orientation (trail map, information boards, sign-postings)
Trail map and overview maps:
The trail map depicts the ski resort very well and includes all altitude levels. All lifts, slopes as well as facilities such as the snow park, children's area, tobogganing run/airboard slope, and restaurants are shown and are easy to recognize. The only thing which chould be added is if the chair lifts have bubbles or not.
Information boards and sign-postings on the slopes:
The sign-postings on the slopes are very good and it is easy to find your way. Four panorama boards in the resort, ski resort news ticker and a slope guidance system make orientation easier. All slopes are marked on both sides so that even in bad weather it is clear to see where the slope continues.
High value is placed on cleanliness. The restrooms in the new lifts are tip top. In general, the ski resort makes a very clean impression. The lift stations are smoke-free.
Environmentally friendly ski operation
As the train station of the Rhaetian Railway is located directly next to the valley station, arrival with public transportation is recommended. The free ski bus service to all villages also ensures mobility for guests without cars. In addition, the slope grooming machines have particulate filters and are operated using bio oil. Fauna conservation areas are marked.
