Environmental friendliness of the ski resort Flumserberg

There are environmentally friendly options for travelling to Flumserberg. Unterterzen train station is right next to the base station of the SeeJet gondola lift and rail travel is therefore an ideal solution. Use of local public transportation is encouraged at Flumserberg. An S-Bahn suburban railway service (S2 line) runs hourly between Zurich and Unterterzen at weekends and on public holidays. From Flums and Sargans train stations, buses run to Flumserberg Tannenheim and Tannenboden. The lifts in the ski resort are environmentally friendly; there are no old diesel generators at Flumserberg. Large flora and fauna protection areas have been created. There are charging points for electric vehicles in the resort.
