Access Ehrwalder Wettersteinbahnen – Ehrwald & on-site parking

The Wetterstein lifts (Wettersteinbahnen Ehrwald) ski resort begins in Ehrwald in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena. The ski resort is about 30 km away from the nearest Autobahn. Access from Germany is via toll-free roads either over Garmisch or Füssen. From the Autobahn A95 München-Garmisch (end of the Autobahn in Eschenlohe), you continue on via Garmisch and Grainau. From the Autobahn A7 Memmingen-Füssen (end of the Autobahn in Füssen), you continue on via Reutte and the Fern Pass highway. In Austria, you travel from the A12 Inntal Autobahn (Mötz or Imst interchange) via the Fern Pass highway to Ehrwald.

Free parking is available at the 6-person Sonnenhang Sunracer chairlift as well as at the Wetterstein lift. For beginners and families, we recommend entry at the Sonnenhang Sunracer.
