A gondola lift runs to Aleko (1,800 metres) from the district of Simeonovo in Sofia. The ski area is situated around the mountain station and extends to just below the Cherni Vrah (2,290 metres), the highest mountain in the Vitosha range. There is no valley run to Sofia. Some lifts are no longer in service.
