No cars are permitted in the village of Stoos and the only access is by ski lifts from Schwyz or Morschach. Sustainability is an important priority in the Stoos Muotatal region. There is no access to protected wildlife and forest areas and these are clearly marked on the piste map. Travel by public transport is encouraged and there is a very good bus link from Schwyz to the base station of the Stoosbahn lift. There are also charging points for electric vehicles in the car parks here.
