The two parts of the ski resort, Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows, are linked by the modern Base to Base 8-person gondola lift with two middle stations. All runs can be accessed by chairlift. The chairlifts are mainly modern and detachable with no weather-protection covers. Two feeder lifts run from The Village at Palisades Tahoe to High Camp and Gold Coast. There are moving carpets for beginners and children.
