Advanced skiing/powder snow skiing Kitzsteinhorn – Kaprun

The Kitzsteinhorn is a paradise for experts. Those who prefer groomed slopes can stay at the Maurer lift or enjoy the 63% gradient on the "Black Mamba". For powder snow fans, there is the impressive Freeride XXL: 5 freeride routes near the lifts are marked X1-X5 and also have names (Ice Age, Westside Story, Left Wing, Jump Run and Pipe Line). There is a modern information system for powder snow enthusiasts with a Freeride Info Base next to the Alpincenter and Freeride Info Points directly at the start of the routes. There is also an avalanche search field for training purposes at the Alpincenter.
