The lifts in the ski resort of Kitzbühel have been modernised over the past few years and visitors can now find state-of-the-art lifts almost everywhere, often with covers and heated seats. The Jufen 8-person chairlift with premium seats and the new Leitner ropeways station featuring a Pininfarina look were introduced in the 2017/2018 season. The Brunn 8-person chairlift with premium real-leather heated seats went into operation in the 2015/2016 season. The Wagstätt 10-person gondola lift with a middle station and heated seats was introduced in the 2013/2014 season. The Zweitausender 8-person chairlift and Walde 6-person chairlift have been running since 2012/2013. Since the 2011/2012 season, a modern 6-person chairlift has been taking skiers from the Thurn Pass up to the Resterhöhe. Optimal access has been available to the Kirchberg side of the resort since 2010/2011, thanks to the Maierl 10-person gondola lift and the Ochsalm 8-person chairlift. The Fleckalmbahn lift is on the modernisation list for the future. Moving carpets are also distributed throughout the ski resort.
