The ski resort of Hochkönig has a very good ski bus system. There is no need for a car at any point during the holiday. In most of the mountain restaurants, there is a clear focus on regional ingredients. The resort also clearly shows the areas where winter sports are permitted and protected zones for flora and fauna.

    The nearest train stations are Bischofshofen and Saalfelden. Buses operate from here.

  • There is an extensive ski bus network. Connections extend all the way to Bischofshofen and Saalfelden - however, there is no bus link between the villages of Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach.
