Beginners Dachstein West – Gosau/​Russbach/​Annaberg

Beginners can practice in Gosau, Gosau-Hintertal, Rußbach and Annaberg-Astauwinkel on the practice lifts at the base. The highlight is the offering in Annaberg-Astauwinkel. The new Donnerkogel gondola lift provides access to an ideal practice area. Up on the mountain at the Hornspitz, there are also two practice lifts, which are accessible with the feeder lifts from Rußbach and Gosau. Otherwise, the slopes up in the ski resort and the valley runs are mostly intermediate and not suitable for pure beginners. In all three villages, there are plenty of ski instructors available to teach beginners how to ski.
