The ski resort is located in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site and they have made it their goal to protect and preserve the environment. As a member of "Alpine Perlen der Alpen" (Alpine Pearls of the Alps), the Carezza ski resort provides soft mobility and environmentally-friendly offers. Under the "Alpine Klimaskigebiete" (Alpine Climate Ski Resorts), the operators wish to develop energy efficient and ecologically sustainable ski resort management techniques and pilot projects for saving energy and for innovative energy production from renewable sources. The environmental resources are protected and sustainably implemented through optimized management of resources, such as water for artificial snow production. Scheduled bus lines travel to Welschnofen and from there directly to the gondola lift which takes guests up to the Carezza ski resort.
