New connection and new slope: From Glemmtal up to the Schmitten

With the new zellamseeXpress, the old downhill run used in the years between 1930 and 1980 will be reopened. Since the winter of 2014/2015, the old downhill run has been open for ski tours down to Viehhofen. The new 10-seater mono-cable gondola runs from a corner station above Viehhofen up to the top station on the Salersbachköpfl at 1,920 meters (section 2). From there a 3.3 km long red slope lined with snow making machines leads you to the corner station. This allows Schmitten guests to see the bigger picture. With the construction of the new lift, a completely new slope offers winter athletes even more skiing comfort. By the way, on the Schmitten, 100% of the slopes have snow-making capability - snow and slope enjoyment is thereby guaranteed!
