Environmental friendliness of the ski resort Kasprowy Wierch – Zakopane

The Kasprowy Wierch ski resort is located inside a National Park and so the strict conditions of the park are observed. You can only access the valley station with small buses or with horse and carriage. There is no snow-making on the slopes and the slopes are only open when there is sufficient snow. When the aerial tramway was renovated, no changes could be made to the landscape and the lift was integrated into the existing stations. The lift capacity is limited in order to protect nature. Soft tourism is practiced here.
