Self-service restaurants are distributed throughout the entire ski area in Ylläs. Several restaurants are located inside the two large base stations. You can also find cosy mountain huts and open fire pits where you can barbecue your own sausages.

Taiga Pub & Kitchen

At the Ylläsjärvi base station at 285 metres

The Taiga Pub & Kitchen offers a wide selection of cuisine, from burgers to pizzas or reindeer dishes. The fireplace or bar are also great places to relax at the end of a day on the slopes.

There are several options for a break in the restaurant complex at the Äkäslompolo base station. As well as a large self-service restaurant, there is also a cosy pub.

Gondol Pizza 718

In the mountain station of the gondola lift at 718 metres

The Café Gondol has three roles. During the day, it is a café serving snacks and after closing time, it provides storage for the gondolas on the lift. The sauna gondola is also stored in this café. This can be hired after the slopes close for around €1,500 for sauna rides on the gondola route.

Ylläskammi 718

Beside the mountain station of the gondola lift at 718 metres

Probably the most rustic mountain hut at the highest point in the ski resort of Ylläs. The cosy lounge with a fireplace is an inviting place on cold or stormy days.

Aurinko Ravintola

At the base station of the Aurinko tow lift at 380 metres

The cosy and rustic hut serves regional specialities. The large sun terrace is an attractive place to sit in fine weather. The bar is an ideal place to relax for a while.

Y1 Café Express

At the base station of the Ylläs Aurinko Express chairlift at 400 metres

The Y1 Café Express serves delicious snacks, sweet treats and refreshments. You can also enjoy reindeer goulash here. The large café has lots of space and there is a terrace to make the most of sunny days.
