The Yellowstone Club is the worlds largest and most exclusive private skiclub. Here you can enjoy private runs and the private powder, only if you are a member. To become a member you have to purchase real estate (from 1,2 mio US$ and up) in the 13400 acres area, you need a deposit of 300.000 US$ and the yearly fee is approx. 16.000 US$. In the summertime you can use the golf course, too. Every house or condo can be reached by lift and slope with direct ski-in ski-out access and you have really no waiting times at the lifts. You can access the Yellowstone Club also with skis from the Big Sky Resort, but at the gate a guard check your name and if you are not on the list you have no chance to get in. At first you reach the quad Meadows with at one time 4 x 3 chairs with bubbles which bings you efficient to the Andesite Mountain. From here you can ski or ride via easy to advanced runs down to the Gallatin River which divide the club into two sides. The short double chair River Crossing Lift traverse the small river and you can take the quad American Spirit up to the direction of Pioneer Peak. To go to the Timerline Café, a cozy mountain hut, you can ski or ride down to the Warren Miller Lodge, take the quad Lodge Lift and you reach the Timberline Café. You can also ski or ride to the quad Lake Lift which ends directly at the Café, too. Between the two quads you have phenomenal runs in the forest and through forest aisles. Nearly all quads (except Meadows) are high speed detachable lifts and every 2nd chair has a cover (bubble) and you can coose if you want to go up "open" or "closed". To reach the advanced and powder runs you have to take the double chair Mountain Lift from the Timberline Café up to the highest point in the ski club on top of the Pioneer Peak (3005m). Via the Ridge Road you can reach the double diamond runs on the front side, on the back side are the easy run Namaste and the intermediate run Middle Ching. Nearly all runs end on the flat way back to the Lake Lift, called Backtrack. For all members who like to go skiing in Big Sky you have to take the River Crossing Lift and the quad Andesite Ridge Lift and then you can ski or ride along the Meadows Lift to the base station and from here direct into the Big Sky Resort. To stop for a bite to eat you can go to the Timberline Café or to the Warren Miller Lodge where they serve a delicious gourmet buffet. At the Rainbow Lodge, located in the middle of the area are a few guest lodges and in the lodge is a restaurant as well as a wellness club with outdoor pool and hot tub with fantastic view to the Lone Mountain. The Warren Miller Lodge is the central check-in for the Yellowstone Club. The guests can have a glass of champagne at the caviar-bar. The Club offer also for the children a lot to and if the parents want to go skiing they can go to the children day care. In front of the Warren Miller Lodge is the Little Dipper Lift, a triple chair, as well as a magic carpet with easy runs where you can learn how to ski or ride. More t-bars and a triple chair are evenly spread in the area, so very house gets a perfect lift and slope access. For the future they plan to build a gondola to the Eglise Rock, as well as new condos. According to reports they will build a holiday chalet for 155 Mio US$ which will be the most expensive chalet on the world. The Yellowstone Club is a TOP-ski area and all the members can enjoy very modern lifts, very groomed runs, private powder and gourmet food.
