Beginner-friendly rating Winterberg (Skiliftkarussell)

Test result4 out of 5 stars

The evaluation is done as follows

Beginners Winterberg (Skiliftkarussell)

Herrloh is the top choice for beginners. At the entrance to the Remmeswiese as well as at the Herrloh practice lifts, you'll find a ski rental shop, ski school office and the entrance to the lift all within walking distance. A people mover on the Remmeswiese and the Rauher Busch chairlift provide access to gently sloped, but very narrow runs. On the Herrloh, three not so comfortable tow ropes provide access to a very wide practice slope. The very short people mover there is really only for the very first attempts on skis. The parking spaces at the two entrances are limited and there can also be a long wait at the ski rental shops. Those who want to show up punctually for courses fully equipped on the weekends or during the school holidays, should plan in some extra time.
Those who can manage a snow plow, can explore the entire Skiliftkarussell because easy runs lead to everywhere in the resort. However, you must sometimes take narrow slopes, which can get pretty crowded on busy days. The run at the Brembergkopf 2 lift tends to be a bit less crowded. It is also recommended to purchase a point card on very crowded days.
