Beginner-friendly rating Willingen – Ettelsberg

Test result4 out of 5 stars

Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows

Beginners Willingen – Ettelsberg

Willingen offers beginners almost perfect conditions. At the Wilddieb, Dorfwiese/Ettelsberg, Sonn lift and Ritzhagen base stations, there are gentle slopes with lifts suitable for beginners (pommel lifts or people movers) as well as ski rental shops and ski schools. It's perfect for fear-free learning here. However, the next step is a bit trickier because there is no true blue slope from the Ettelsberg down to the base. The ski path via Koehlerhagen and then back via Wilddieb and the Dorfweise can be conditionally recommended for beginners. The situation is better on the Ritzhagen, which offers an easy slope and a comfortable ascent with the 6-person chairlift.
