The ski resort is right next to the Bulgarian capital of Sofia. The city centre of Sofia is just 12 kilometres from the gondola lift. The gondola lift starts in the southern district of Simeonovo and runs up to Aleko. The large car park is just 1 kilometre or so from the motorway-like ring road around Sofia. A charge applies for parking. It is also possible to drive on mountain roads from the Dragalevtsi district of Sofia to the car parks at the Laleto 1 chairlift or even continue to the mountain station of the gondola lift at Aleko.
