Total result: 3.6 out of 5 stars

From the Summit Pass the road leads approx. 6 miles up to the Timberline Lodge, located at 6000 ft. Here are a lot of parking lots for the ski resort and the lodge. In the Wy´east Day Lodge, located underneath the Timberline Lodge, you can buy the lift tickets, go for lunch, visit the shops or the rental shop. In front of the lodge is the beginner terrain with the short double chair Bruno, a rope tow and a magic carpet. Exquisite runs through the trees start right at the lodge and lead down to the triple chair Pucci and to the high speed quad Molly´s Express. The base station of the Molly´s Express is at an elevation of 4950 ft. Via easy runs you can ski or ride to the high speed quad Stormin´Norman which open up easy to intermediate runs. From this lift and the triple chair Pucci you can reach the base station of the high speed quad Magic Mile Express, which ends at the Silcox Hut at an elevation of 7016 ft. During the winter time the ski resort ends here, due to the hight of the snow the next chair lift starts working in the spring time. In April and May you can ski or ride the whole ski resort. The high speed quad Palmer Express works from April to September and open up the glacier for summer skiing. The top of the lift is 8540 ft. In the summer is a mid station at this lift if the snow is not enough to ski down to the Silcox Hut. The runs on the glacier are most difficult, but from the Silcox Hut to Timberline Lodge intermediate. All the runs below the Timberline Lodge are in the forest and all runs upside the Timberline Lodge are on wide terrain. The ski resort is very good for beginners, because the runs in the lower part of the resort are mostly very easy. For a break or lunch you can go to the Wy´east Day Lodge, or if you like a cultivated served meal you can go to the Timberline Lodge.
